I build software that stays understandable as it grows.

I’m İkbal Avşar Turgut, a full-stack developer working across backend systems, product interfaces, and AI-assisted developer tools.

My work usually starts with a messy boundary: a slow API, a data model that has outgrown its first assumptions, or a product surface that needs to make a complex system feel simple. I enjoy making those boundaries explicit and useful.

01 / What I bring

Strong systems are not only fast. They are legible enough to change, observable enough to trust, and considerate enough to make the right thing easier for the people using them.

I began with computer engineering and moved through research, front-end delivery, backend development, and full-stack product work. That path shaped a practical view of software: the interface, API, database, deployment pipeline, and test suite are one product seen from different angles.

I care about the details that keep a system healthy after launch — cache invalidation, migration safety, query shape, loading states, failure handling, and the names we use to explain all of them. At Hardal, that curiosity has expanded toward AI visibility: making the activity of AI agents on the web observable without losing the context that makes the signal useful.
